Activities

Join in the Fun!

While drawing closer to God at Pine Eden, guests have the opportunity to discover their purpose in life through onsite activities. All while having fun through fellowship, team building, exploring, and relaxing. Pine Eden offers a variety of activities to incorporate with your Retreat.

Popcorn & S'mores Bonfires

It just wouldn’t be a retreat without a “treat of popcorn & s’mores” roasted over a bonfire in our firepit. Don’t forget to swap stories or join a sing-along by the crackling fire.

Canoes (bring your own)

While we encourage guests to swim in our on campus swimming pool rather than the lake, some groups do bring their own canoes and enjoy canoeing across our 4-acre lake.

Outdoor Basketball

Shoot some hoops or join a “pickup” game on our outdoor basketball court. We have hosted a couple of basketball tournaments during our summer youth camps. Winner has “bragging rights” for the year.

Volleyball

Volleyball is a fan favorite at Pine Eden. Enjoy a game or two after dinner while the sun sets on a fun filled day.

Soccer Field

Our Athletic Field plays host to soccer and football conditioning camps. Make sure to book your camps early in the year.

Swimming

Come get your feet wet by swimming in our newly renovated swimming pool. Water Volleyball, Marco Polo, and other water games are waiting for your fun in the sun.

Hiking

If you love to take walks in the woods, then you’ll love exploring Pine Eden. For a little more adventure, FDR State Park is just up the road (7 miles) with higher mountain trails.

Fishing

Looking to catch the Big ONE? Many folks, both first timers and old pros, have tried. Best to bring “live bait” with you to try your hand at catching bass, catfish, and bream.

Brick Painting

Express Yourself!!! Help us build our Children’s Garden while leaving your “creative mark” by painting a brick or two. Guess how many bricks have been “planted” so far in our garden by the lake.

Skipping Rocks

Do you have what it takes to make a rock skip 2, 5, 10, or more times across the surface of our lake? Give it a try the next time you visit Pine Eden. You never know, you just might beat the record of 12 skips.

Hope 7 Christian Scavenger Hunt

Travel throughout the Pine Eden campus on our Hope 7 Scavenger Hunt to help you discover your purpose and embrace your journey.
